Blanc de Blancs

Champagne made entirely from Chardonnay — precise, linear and often the longest‑lived style.

Blanc de Blancs means "white from whites" and refers to champagne made only from white grapes — in practice, almost always Chardonnay. The best come from the Côte des Blancs, a chalky sub‑region south of Épernay.

How it tastes

Cool, chalky and citrus‑driven when young. With age it develops honey, hazelnut and a texture closer to fine white Burgundy.

When to serve

Excellent as an aperitif or with delicate first courses — oysters, sashimi, a plate of langoustines.
