Blanc de Noirs

White champagne made from black grapes — Pinot Noir and Meunier — richer and rounder than Blanc de Blancs.

Blanc de Noirs is white champagne made only from black grapes: Pinot Noir, Meunier, or a blend of the two. The colour is often a shade deeper — pale straw rather than water‑white.

How it tastes

More red‑fruit, more weight. Pinot Noir gives structure and orchard fruit; Meunier adds softness and immediacy.

When to serve

Confident food wine. Roast chicken, mushroom risotto, mature hard cheeses.
