Jacquart Signature Rosé
Jacquart Signature Rosé brings the Reims house’s contemporary approach to rosé Champagne, with fresh cherry and berry fruit making it an appealing choice for both aperitifs and the table.
Jacquart Signature Rosé is a welcoming introduction to the pink side of this Reims Champagne house. Fresh cherry and berry fruit give the wine its immediate appeal, making it a particularly tempting choice when you want a bottle with the festive presence of rosé Champagne but enough character to enjoy beyond the first glass.
Jacquart was founded in 1964, relatively recently in the long history of Champagne, and has been based at the Hôtel de Brimont in Reims since 2009. The house draws on a broad network of vineyard origins, selecting more than 60 growths from the roughly 150 vinified each year. That breadth is central to the Jacquart approach: it gives the cellar team a rich palette from which to assemble wines with a recognisable house identity.
Signature Rosé sits in an interesting position within that portfolio. It is the house’s main rosé reference, distinct from the more selective Cuvée Alpha Rosé. For buyers, that makes it an attractive place to start: expressive enough to be chosen for its own style, without needing to be reserved solely for a grand occasion.
Serve it cool rather than fiercely cold, ideally in a tulip-shaped glass that gives its red-fruit aromas room to develop. It would be a lovely opening bottle for a celebratory lunch or an elegant addition to an informal dinner with friends. At the table, consider roast chicken, a savoury tomato tart or a beetroot-based starter; each gives the wine an interesting setting without overwhelming the occasion.
A useful way to explore Jacquart further is to place Signature Rosé alongside Mosaïque Brut, the house’s broad introductory blend. The contrast is less about declaring one better than the other and more about finding which side of Jacquart’s range suits your taste and the food you enjoy.
Choose Jacquart Signature Rosé for a rosé Champagne with an approachable fruit-led character, a clear place in the house’s collection and the versatility to move gracefully from the welcome drink to dinner.
